Woman Takes Her Own Life In Parking Lot: San Ramon Police
The incident took place around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at Bishop Drive and Executive Parkway.
SAN RAMON, CA — Police activity Wednesday in a parking lot at Bishop Drive and Executive Parkway was due to a suicide, police have confirmed. A distraught woman died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound around 11:30 a.m., said San Ramon PD Captain Denton Carlson.
"Officers contacted an individual who expressed suicidal thoughts while conversing with their spouse. It is with great sadness we are informing you that shortly after being contacted by our officers, the person took their life via a self-inflicted gunshot," Carlson reported in a tweet.
There were no other injuries reported.

Portions of the parking lot directly between 4000 Executive Parkway and 2451 Bishop Drive will be closed much of Wednesday as police continue their investigation into this incident.
