Shots Fired In San Ramon, 17-Year-Old Suspect Arrested: SRPD
Multiple bullets from one car at another car traveling along Bollinger Canyon Road. A San Ramon resident is charged with attempted murder.
SAN RAMON, CA — A 17-year-old San Ramon resident was arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting on Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon police said.
Police say they responded late Wednesday night to reports of a shooting on Bollinger Canyon Road, just south of Harcourt Way. Upon arrival, officers determined that multiple shots were fired from inside one vehicle toward another as the two cars drove along Bollinger Canyon Road.
One car was struck by bullets multiple times, though no one sustained significant injuries, police said.

Police investigators quickly determined the suspect’s vehicle through the city’s camera network and evidence uncovered at the shooting location.
On Thursday morning, after further investigation, the SRPD’s Investigations Division began covert surveillance on the vehicle and the suspect’s home. Just after 1 p.m., detectives arrested a 17-year-old San Ramon resident on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police said Thursday afternoon that the suspect will be booked into Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall.
