WHEREAS, for over 30 years, the nurses, physicians, employees and volunteers at San Ramon Regional Medical Center have been dedicated to meet the health needs of the growing and diverse San Ramon community; and
WHEREAS, the nurses, physicians and employees performed countless heroic duties to combat the
COVID-19 pandemic; providing care with bravery, dedication and compassion, sometimes at risk to their own health; and

WHEREAS, the hospital provided COVID-19 testing to countless members of the San Ramon community; and
WHEREAS, the hospital administered thousands of doses of COVID-19 vaccines to members of the San Ramon community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that on the occasions of National Nurses Week and National
Hospital Week, May 6-15, 2021, the City Council of the City of San Ramon recognizes San Ramon
Regional Medical Center for its dedication to the health and wellbeing of the citizens of San Ramon and surrounding communities.

San Ramon Regional Medical Center National Hospital Week 2021
WHEREAS, those who serve in hospitals have a major responsibility to the welfare of our community; and
WHEREAS, the hospital staff at San Ramon Regional Medical Center have always worked to provide high quality, compassionate healthcare to our community; and
WHEREAS, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospital staff worked harder than ever to respond to the public health crisis; and
WHEREAS, the hospital’s employees and medical staff members tirelessly cared for many COVID-19 positive patients with compassion and selflessness; and
WHEREAS, the hospital also offered COVID-19 testing to the community and administered thousands of doses of the COVID-19 vaccines; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council on the occasion of National Hospital Week does hereby thank and celebrate the members of the San Ramon Regional Medical Center team for their dedication and contributions to our community.
