SRVUSD Enrolling For No-Cost Preschool
Eligible SRVUSD families can enroll their three or four-year-old in preschool at Live Oak and Walt Disney elementary schools.
SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Valley Unified District is currently enrolling for its free, state-funded preschool programs.
The preschools are located in classrooms at Live Oak Elementary and Walt Disney Elementary schools in San Ramon, and are taught by fully-credentialed teachers possessing a California Child Development permit. Classes are five days a week, from roughly 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and have a 1:8 staff to student ratio. Classes provide school readiness opportunities for children, and use the California Preschool Foundations and Frameworks for curricula.
Classes are open to three and four-year-old students living in the district, and are free to families with certain eligibility requirements. A family of four making $112,000 or less, or families receiving aid, experiencing homelessness, or caring for a foster child may qualify.
