SRVUSD Seeks Feedback On School Reopenings Next Year

SAN RAMON VALLEY, CA — With San Ramon Valley Unified School District's first day of school slated for August 11, the district is seeking the public's feedback in drafting its fall reopening plan.

Though comments are welcomed, the district said it must abide by certain parameters set by state officials, such as maintaining six feet of distance between students and allowing no more than 12 students in one place, said Christopher George, SRVUSD instructional services director and communications coordinator, in a note to the schools community. That means classrooms will not be able to accommodate a full class.

The district hopes to a have a draft ready by June 23 and will send parents weekly email updates, he wrote.
