SWAT Operation In San Ramon Uncovers Illegal Firearms: SRPD

San Ramon police joined a SWAT team to execute a "high-risk" arrest operation early Friday morning. One suspect is in custody.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon Police joined the Central County SWAT Team and personnel from several other local police departments to execute a “high-risk” search and arrest warrant operation in San Ramon early Thursday morning, the department said.

San Ramon police officers participated in a join-takedown operation led by the San Francisco Police Department related to the illicit possession of assault weapons and machine guns.

The operation was successful, and one suspect was taken into custody on an arrest warrant. Police said they uncovered multiple firearms.
