Travel Diary - Meijiawau Tea Cultural Village

1. The Memorial Room of Premier Zhou Enlai

Zhou Enlai, the heavily respected first Premier of the People's Republic of China from 1949 to 1976, visited Meijiawu Village China best tours 5 times successively and was always very concerned about the village’s tea production in the village. The second story is a well decorated reception room. The memorial hall is also well-equipped with multimedia devices, often playing the documentary “Premier Zhou and Meijiawu Village” for visitors.

2. Langdang Mountain Range

The Langdang Mountain Range stretches for over 5 kilometers. The nearby villages popular China travel package have built a road along the way, set with a stone memorial archway at the entrance where visitors can fully appreciate the views of Meijiawu tea plantations.

3. Ligeng Hall

Ligeng Hall is an ancient residence in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1616-1911) styles, making it look very remarkable among the buildings along the central avenue. The inscribed tablet “Ligeng Hall” was written by famous calligrapher Zhang Zhao from the 18th century who was also a high government official in the Qing Dynasty.
