Two 2-Bedroom San Ramon Townhomes Priced At $241K: How To Enter The Lottery

SAN RAMON, CA — Two two-bedroom, Below Market Rate homes are available in San Ramon for income-qualified, first-time homebuyers.

Both homes are two-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 1,187-square-foot units located at 3029 Bolster Loop and 2005 Bolster Loop. They are both listed for $241,407. By contrast, the median asking price for a two-bedroom home in San Ramon is $615,000 for a condo and $718,500 for a townhouse, according to homes.com.

The homes are located inside Iron Horse Village, a new collection of 117 homes near Bishop Ranch with a mix of single and multi-family homes, as well as landscape paths, a private playground, and connection to the Iron Horse Trail. Solar energy is included in the purchase price. The city of San Ramon will not assist in the down payment.

The units are available to first-time homebuyers living in households of two to five people whose combined gross household income falls under the following numbers:

• $108,600 for a two-person household
• $122,200 for a three-person household
• $135,750 for a four-person household

The city will host an orientation workshop for taking part in the drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at San Ramon City Hall or via Zoom. See here to register for the orientation.

The deadline to enter the drawing is Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m. The homes are expected to be ready between November 2026 and January 2027.
