Upcoming 'Stuff-The-Cruiser' Benefits Contra Costa Food Bank
The event with police cruiser is at Safeway on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. Mark your calendars, and support neighbors in need.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department is partnering next week with the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano with a "Stuff-the-Cruiser" event to help stock the organization's food shelves.
The socially distant food drive will be Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Safeway at 2505 San Ramon Valley Blvd., the department said.
"Together we can make a difference, and we need your help," according to the police agency. "Since the pandemic, the need for food bank services has gone up by 40 to 50 percent. They are now serving 250,000 people per month."
