SAN RAMON, CA — Walt Disney Elementary School has a new interim principal. Kelly Walton will serve in the post for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, it was announced by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

She follows in the footsteps of principal Curtis Haar, who was appointed as director of elementary education for the Dublin Unified School District.

In a letter to WDES parents and staffers announcing the change, SRVUSD's deputy superintendent of educational services touted Walton's leadership skills.

Prior to her work at Golden View Elementary, Walton was a TSA at Twin Creeks, Quail Run and Walt Disney, as well as a summer school administrator, Taylor said.
