Woman Shot In San Ramon, Suspect Arrested: Reports
A suspect has been arrested in Southern California in connection with a Saturday night shooting that left a woman injured.
SAN RAMON, CA — A Concord man was arrested in connection with a shooting that left a woman in San Ramon injured, KRON-4 and the Bay Area News Group reported.
Forest T. McCaskill, a 26-year-old from Concord, was arrested in Anaheim Sunday and charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon following a multi-agency investigation, KRON-4 said. McCaskill is booked at a jail in Anaheim pending transfer to Contra Costa County.
The shooting took place Saturday before about 11 p.m. at the Mill Creek at Windemere Apartments on Waterstone Place, SRPD Acting Captain Tami Williams told Danville San Ramon. Police found a woman at the scene who had sustained a gunshot wound. She was transported to a nearby hospital and was listed in stable condition as of Monday morning, Williams said.
