Monique Limón's Santa Barbara office. 3. Beck Celebrates New Album Release With 'Run Away' Video (antimusic.com) — Beck's new album Ride Lonesome arrives just before he launches the accompanying tour at the Santa Barbara Bowl on September 22, giving locals the first live taste of the new songs. The show will feature deep cuts from earlier albums alongside fresh material, before the tour moves on to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and major venues nationwide.
4. County Farm Day Offers Behind-the-Scenes Look at Agricultural Process (noozhawk.com) — Santa Barbara County residents just wrapped up Farm Day, a free, self-guided tour of 20 farms stretching from Santa Maria to Carpinteria, showcasing the region's diverse agriculture. Visitors saw everything from lavender oil distillation in Lompoc to sustainable walnut growing in Solvang, while learning how local farmers reduce chemicals, support pollinators, and protect wildlife.
5. 11th Annual Organ Donation Celebration Walk & BBQ held in Santa Barbara (keyt.com) — An organ donation awareness walk and BBQ brought donors, recipients, and supporters together along the Santa Barbara waterfront, starting at Leadbetter Beach and looping to Stearns Wharf. Local organizers shared powerful transplant stories, Westmont nursing students volunteered, and participants were encouraged to register as donors and talk with family about their wishes.
