183,187 Meals Will Be Served to Those in Need Thanks to Santa Cruz Co. Employees

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Santa Cruz County employees recently raised enough food and money to provide 183,187 meals to feed those in need. County employees have participated in the annual Second Harvest Food Bank’s Annual Holiday Food and Fund Drive for 26 years.

“We on the Board are very proud of County employees for the care and commitment they consistently show toward the Santa Cruz County community,” Board of Supervisors Chair Bruce McPherson said. “The Holiday Food and Fund Drive is no exception.”

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County serves thousands of community members in need throughout the year. Donations and volunteer opportunities can be found online.
