Ask Santa Cruz Police Lieutenant Candidates A Question
The public may observe interviews and submit candidate questions for consideration.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — As the search for the Santa Cruz Police Department's next lieutenant continues, residents are invited to submit questions for and observe a series of interviews at police headquarters, 155 Center St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Interviews will take place in hour-long intervals with a break at noon. Community members will not be allowed to participate, but can email questions to jmulloy@cityofsantacruz.com.
Santa Cruz Police Chief Andrew Mills said in a press release that the job of lieutenant must be filled by a "dedicated public servant" and "effective leader" who "shares my commitment to transparency and accountability."
