Author of Blue Mind to Give Reading

Meet Wallace J. Nichols, author of New York Times best seller Blue Mind, which explores why water so enchants us. Reading and book signing.

Santa Cruz-based marine biologist and author Wallace J. Nichols, Phd, will read from his new book Blue Mind at the Davenport Roadhouse Restaurant and Inn on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:30 pm. Nichol’s New York Times bestseller Blue Mind explores the emotional, behavioral, psychological and physical connections that keep us so enchanted with water.

Nichols is a research associate at the California Academy of Sciences and founder/co-director of Ocean Revolution, SEE the WILD, and LiVBLUE. His work has been broadcast on NPR, BBC, PBS, National Geographic and Animal Planet and featured in Time, Newsweek, GQ, Outside, Fast Company, Scientific American, and New Scientist. His book tour has included stops in Chicago, St. Petersburg, Pittsburg, Boston and Los Angeles.

KAZU radio host Lisa Ledin and a few special guests will read passages from Blue Mind, followed by a Q & A session with the author. After the reading, Wallace J. Nichols will sign copies of his book that will be for sale.
