Bomb Threat On Metro Bus In Santa Cruz 'Not Credible'
The threat was made to a Metro bus that was at California and Laurel streets.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A reported bomb threat on a Metro bus in Santa Cruz was unfounded, police have confirmed.
Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Santa Cruz Police Chief Andrew Mills tweeted that there was a threat at California and Laurel streets.
The area is near Santa Cruz High School.

Traffic was delayed in the area, and police vehicles surrounded the targeted bus and blocked streets. After an investigation, officers found no device.
The bus has been placed back into service and there is no threat to the community, according to police spokeswoman Joyce Blaschke.
