Bookshop Santa Cruz's Rocking Horse Birthday Party
Help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary year with a special event dedicated to Bookshop's mascot – the Rocking Horse!
Generations of Santa Cruzans have grown up riding the rocking horse in our children’s section and the horse was the first thing saved from the rubble of the old bookshop during the 1989 earthquake. Customers are invited to a birthday party for the Rocking Horse with special a guest appearance of beloved book characters, Frog and Toad. Share your rocking horse memories, take a family picture with the rocking horse, join in fun games and activities, and enjoy birthday cake.
