SOQUEL, CA — Firefighters battled a small fire in Soquel Monday afternoon near Laurel Glen Road.
The fire was contained at a quarter-acre as of 12:53 p.m.
Cal Fire's San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit asked people to avoid the area as emergency personnel respond to the scene.
