Designed especially for families with children ages 8–12, this exciting community event combines interactive arts, music, dance, theatre, creativity, entrepreneurship, and technology into one unforgettable experience.

Entrepreneurship & Innovation Showcase (12:00 PM–1:00 PM)

Meet local innovators and discover how ideas become real-world products. Featured presenters include:

Doug Erickson, Executive Director of Santa Cruz Works – Keynote - First Steps for Young Entrepreneurs

•  Milo (Age 10), 3DE Club Student Entrepreneur – Presenting his "Boss Station" 3D-printed pencil holder and sharing how kids can turn ideas into real products.
•  Niall Macken, Director of Spanner Design – How professional designers use design-thinking to transform ideas into products used by real customers.
•  David Silverglate, Founder of Sky Design Studio – Behind the scenes of toy invention, 3D design, and rapid prototyping.
•  Chris Bley from Dart – Modern manufacturing, product development, and a special appearance by RoboDog!

Every child who participates in the Drawing Challenge will receive a FREE 3D-printed animal to take home (while supplies last). Kids will also enjoy:
