Chase Leads To Arrest By Sheriff's Deputies In Felton

FELTON, CA — A 39-year-old man was arrested by Santa Cruz County deputies after a Friday night chase in Felton.

Nicholas Kondzielaski of Boulder Creek was picked up late Friday after a deputy spotted a stolen white Ford van being driven on Highway 9 in Felton.

Kondzielaski was behind the wheel and tried to make a getaway by pulling into a nearby QuikStop and fleeing on foot, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. He ran and hopped a fence into a nearby backyard, but deputies eventually caught up with him.
