Community Invited To Star Wars Food Truck Event In Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - From the City of Santa Cruz: The City of Santa Cruz invites the community to join the Parks and Recreation Department for the final Food Truck event of 2017 onFriday, Sept. 29, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at San Lorenzo Park Benchlands with Star Wars theme.

Special guests from a galaxy far, far away — the 501st Legion Golden Gate Garrison troopers — will attend. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Star Wars characters and enter contests for the most authentic Star Wars costume and best Chewbacca sound.

There will be a wide selection of delicious and unique food truck menus featuring beer from Corralitos Brewery and wine from Storrs Winery.

The Parks and Recreation Department wishes, “May the "forks" be with you!”
