Crash Victim ID'd As Santa Cruz Man, 24
The accident, that occurred late Monday in Solano County, also severely injured a 21-year-old Aptos resident, officials said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – The Solano County coroner's office has identified a man who died after a solo vehicle crash in Solano County late Monday night as 24-year-old Jackson Laudenback.
The California Highway Patrol said he lived in Santa Cruz.
The CHP said a 2002 Ford Ranger was traveling north on Interstate Highway 505 south of Putah Creek Road near Winters and the Yolo County line when the truck overturned several times. The crash was reported around 10:50 p.m.

Laudenback was extricated from the truck and died en route to a hospital, the CHP said.
Jade D. Bowdoin, 21, of Aptos, believed to be the driver, suffered major injuries and was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, CHP Sgt. Bret Kwarta said.
