December Babes Bundled In Love: Holiday Tradition In Santa Cruz
Retired Dominican Hospital nurses who call themselves "The Grateful Thread" have been sewing and donating these stockings for decades.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — It's been a holiday tradition for decades at Dignity Health Dominican Hospital: Every baby born at the Santa Cruz facility during the month of December goes home in an oversized holiday stocking.
For years, a group of retired Dominican maternity nurses who call themselves "The Grateful Thread" have been sewing these adorably sweet stockings and donating them to the hospital.
Love all around. Happy holidays!
