Donate To Improve Wildfire-Ravaged Santa Cruz County Parks
Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks has launched a new fund to support fire victims and invest in long-term wildfire recovery.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — As firefighters increase containment on the CZU August Lightning Complex fires, Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks are starting to look toward recovery.
The newly launched Friends Fire Fund will first prioritize providing assistance to those hit hard by the fire, then move onto longer-term recovery work on affected parks, according to the nonprofit.
"The wildfire has caused heartbreaking devastation and disruption for our community, affecting our beloved state parks, as well as those who work in them," Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks wrote.
