Driver Found Passed Out At Wheel With Drugs In Car, Police Say
Police said they had to shift the car into park and awaken the driver.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — A driver was arrested after he was found passed out, with the engine running and car in gear, according to the Santa Cruz Police Department.
Police worked to park the car and wake driver Thomas Robb and spotted drug-related items sitting around, police said.
Police said they searched the car and found a large amount of Xanax in the car, as well as packaging materials, scales, drug paraphernalia and a police scanner.
