Earthquake Hits South Of Santa Cruz Co., Monterey Bay
Breaking: The temblor was reported Sunday night.
MONTEREY BAY, CA — A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck near Monterey Bay in Monterey County Sunday night, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported just before 8 p.m. Residents as far away as Morgan Hill reported feeling the quake.
No one was injured in the earthquake and sheriff's officials said no damage was reported in Santa Cruz County.
