Easy & Simple - Men's Fashion

Having a sense of style doesn't mean you have to be a fashionista or wear a pair of an item two sizes smaller than what you are used to. It just means you have a "common sense" of putting items together to look presentable. There are plenty of local men's stores, which I have referenced for you below! Here is my take on a simple and easy look from Monday through Sunday.

First, we'll start with the shoes. Brown shoes can go a long way! You'd think you can't wear brown with anything but once you pair it with your favorite shirt, you'll see how wrong this "assumption" is. Click here to see a pair of Clarks that are perfect for anyone to own, they are called the " Desert Boot" and can be found at Old School shoes in downtown Santa Cruz. Next is the choice of pants. A dark pair of denim pants can also go a long way and with the right color and aesthetic of the fabric, they will last you a really long time. If it's casual friday at work, I'd opt for a dark crisp pant. I topped it off with a nice black and plastic watch, it'll look like you're never late for anything; and a red and blue polka dot tie, for a sense of humor. Owning a nice jacket, is considered a cool factor now a days. This one is made out of two fabrics, wool and leather. Wool gives a sense of calm and soothing attitude while leather gives a sense of rock and roll. Pair them together and you've got a "checkmate".

Now go out there and show them what you're made of!

Favorite Downtown Santa Cruz/ Capitola Men's Stores:
Old School Shoes: Best shoes in town!
Urban Outfitters: An urban store not just meant for the young adult.
Stripe Men's Boutique: I haven't been there but I know what labels they carry. They are pretty up to date and in fashion now.
American Apparel: Top notch and overpriced but I'll still shop there for items that will last me years to come. Dry clean them only!
Macy's in Capitola
: Overpriced items that are cool, urban, chic, at any age and always on sale.
Target in Capitola: The best under priced items on the market besides a thrift shop.
