Banned Books Readers Theater

Censorship in America is alive and well.  Join local writers, actors, and elected leaders who will celebrate the 1st Amendment by reading from books that have been banned or challenged in America.  Presented by Willing Suspension Armchair Theater in collaboration with Santa Cruz Reads, a partnership of Santa Cruz Public Libraries, Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries, and Santa Cruz Writes that believes great literature encourages conversations and stimulates thinking.  This event is free.
