The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History's new Connect with Nature series runs every Saturday from January 29, 2011 to February 19, 2011. Each class is $8 for members and $10 for general admission. Please register online or at the class.
On February 5th join the Museum for Behind the Bones. Guest curator of the current "Bones" exhibit, Frank Perry, will tell the story behind some of the more interesting specimens in the display. He will also show some bones not included in the exhibit, and share some amusing stories from his many years of experience as Museum paleontologist.
Frank Perry is a Museum Research Associate and has a broad general background in the natural sciences, specializing in geology and paleontology. He works on a freelance basis as a writer, lecturer, and museum exhibit designer/builder. Meet at the Museum at 10am. Questions? Call 831-420-1135.
