All levels, including beginners are invited to attend the Central Libray's Children's Chess Instruction classes on Sunday afternoons. Students who have never played chess are asked to contact Gjon, the instructor, before joining the class. Please e-mail Gjon at coach@santacruzpl.com or call 831-425-7835 for more information. The program from 2pm to 2:45pm is for kids ages 8 years and younger while the program from 3pm to 4pm is for kids ages 9 to 18 years old.
