
This month’s gathering will feature recipes from “Vegan Soul Kitchen” by Bryant Terry. Chef Jenny Brewer will lead a hands-on cooking class where you will prepare a variety of soul foods using fresh, whole, high-quality, healthy ingredients. Dishes include Creole Hoppin'-Jean (a bacon-free twist on Hoppin' John), and Savory Triple-Corn Grits, which substitutes creamed cashews for butter.
