On Saturday, October 23rd, the Santa Cruz Derby Girls return to the Civic Auditorium after their sold out season in 2009! The Santa Cruz Derby Girls have achieved another longstanding goal - being invited to join the WFTDA Apprentice Program. The WFTDA (the Women's Flat Track Derby Association) sets standards for rules, seasons, and safety, and determines guidelines for the national and international athletic competitions of member leagues.
