Feed The Meter, Support A Santa Cruz Nonprofit
Proceeds will benefit Hope Services, which keeps downtown Santa Cruz clean and serves adults with developmental disabilities.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Planning to park on the streets of downtown Santa Cruz in the week before Christmas Day? How generous of you!
The city is hosting its sixth annual Parking for Hope fundraiser from Dec. 15 to Dec. 25, with benefits going to Hope Services, a nonprofit that serves adults with developmental disabilities and cleans Pacific Avenue and downtown Santa Cruz streets, according to a press release from the City of Santa Cruz.
Parking for Hope began as a 2014 pilot program and has since raised $144,000 for Hope Services. Last year's program raised $31,000.

To participate, just pay to park on the streets of Downtown Santa Cruz. Parking rates will remain the same, although the 35 cent fee to pay by phone via Parkmobile will be waived during the fundraiser.
Santa Cruz's holiday Wharf parking program will allow the first hour free of charge from Dec. 17 to Dec. 24. Parking is free on Christmas Day.
