Free Baseball Ticket Giveaway Today For SJ Giants Game

SANTA CRUZ, CA – The Santa Cruz Police Department today is giving away 100 free tickets -- while supplies last -- to Friday's San Jose Giants vs. Modesto Nuts game in San Jose.

The first-come- first-served giveaway is today, Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the police lobby on 155 Center St.

The Friday, April 20 game begins at 7 p.m. at San Jose Municipal Stadium, and the evening will include fireworks and marks Hero Weekend and First Responder's Night.

"Helicopters, fireworks and our very own Lt. Bernie Escalante will be throwing out the first pitch," the department said. "Come celebrate the police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics and all the brave men and women who serve and protect our community, presented by Alliance Credit Union."
