Free Friday Concerts Kick Off In SC With English Beat
The free weekly Friday night concerts run June 14 - Aug. 30 at 400 Beach Street.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Get your groove on because the free Friday Nights Bands on the Beach concert series is kicking off on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The 2019 lineup of Top 40 bands from the ’70s, ’80s, and early ’90s is impressive:
- June 14 – The English Beat
- June 21 – Smash Mouth
- June 28 – Everclear
- July 5 – Pride & Joy
- July 12 – Foghat
- July 19 – Taylor Dayne
- July 26 – Bad Company former lead singer Brian Howe
- Aug 2 – Y & T
- Aug 9 – Living Colour
- Aug 16 – 10,000 Maniacs
- Aug 23 – Journey former lead singer Steve Augeri
- Aug 30 – Papa Doo Run Run
Each free Friday concert will feature two nightly shows: 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The concert will take place at 400 Beach Street, Santa Cruz.
