Grateful Dead New Year's Eve

The China Cats are a Grateful Dead tribute band comprised of veterans of the Bay Area jam band and Dead scene. With over 1500 Facebook fans including a strong fanbase throughout the state, they “approach the Dead’s work with same kind of reverence and sophistication that the Dead themselves showed in their own forays into American roots music,” says Dead archivist Nicholas Meriwether.

Members of the band have performed with members of the Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Dark Star Orchestra, Phil & Friends, David Nelson Band, String Cheese Incident, Galactic, New Riders of the Purple Sage and many others.

Opening the show will be acoustic trio Three-Legged Dawg who capture the spirit of Old & In the Way and Jerry Garcia’s acoustic work.

Show time is 9pm
