Grateful Shelter Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary
he celebration we will reflect on 10 years of community support and share upcoming plans to grow.

From Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter: The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter cordially invites the community to join us on Saturday, October 20, from noon-4 p.m., for the Grateful Shelter Festival celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Animal Services building at the corner of 7th Avenue and Rodriguez Street in Santa Cruz.
The celebration we will reflect on 10 years of community support and share upcoming plans to grow. Since opening its doors in October 2008, the Animal Shelter has spayed and neutered over 32,000 animals, facilitated 19,000 adoptions, and returned over 11,000 lost animals to their owners. The Shelter continues to go above and beyond our core services to help animals and their guardians beyond the Shelter’s doors. The Shelter is proud of established preventive initiatives such as spay/neuter clinics, training classes, humane education, and community outreach.
Join us at Santa Cruz County’s open-door animal shelter to celebrate 10 years of improving the lives of animals and people in our community.
