Gun Violence Against Latinos: Santa Cruz Police Host Discussion
Officers will discuss recent shooting investigations and technology used to combat gun violence Tuesday evening.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — The Santa Cruz Police Department will hold a forum Tuesday evening to discuss the increase in gun violence against Latinos in the city. Chief Andy Mills and other officers will discuss recent shooting investigations and practices, and information about the use of license plate reading technology to combat Latino gun violence.
The presentation will be bilingual.
The event is scheduled to take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Nueva Vista Community Center (133 Leibrandt Ave.).
