Harvey West Park Bocce Court Dedication
Vice Mayor David Terrazas and the Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Department will cut the ribbon a new bocce ball court Thursday, Sept. 28.
SANTA CRUZ, CA - From the Parks and Recreation Department of Santa Cruz: The community is invited to join the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Department and Vice Mayor David Terrazas for the official opening of the new bocce courts at Harvey West Park on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 4:30 p.m. Nestled among the trees and next to Friendship Garden, the courts provide a beautiful setting to enjoy a rousing game of bocce followed by a picnic in the park. The courts would not be possible without generous donations from the Lions Club and Granite Rock Construction. The City appreciates their support in making these courts possible.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by bocce play. To reserve the courts, call the Parks and Recreation office at 420-5270.
