Hide-And-Seek Turns Scary When Boy Falls Asleep Hiding

K-9 Dries of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office saved the day, finding the sleeping child.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A young boy fell asleep during a game of hide-and-seek this weekend, scaring his family and prompting his mom to call 911 after unsuccessfully searching for him.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Officer tapped K-9 Officer Dries for the job. The pup quickly found the child, and reunited mother and son.
