Homeless Shelter Looks To Extend Contract Amid Coronavirus Spread
A contract to operate a shelter at the National Guard Armory expires March 31, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — The Salvation Army Santa Cruz Corps is looking to extend a contract with the county for the 24-hour shelter it operates inside the National Guard Armory, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported. The contract expires March 31.
County officials are working on an extension with the Salvation Army, the paper reported.
The Salvation Army operates shelters in Watsonville, but contract for the program will run through June, the Sentinel reported.
