Impaired Man Drives Onto Roundabout, Santa Cruz Police Say
The driver and his passenger were both arrested after the car got stuck on the roundabout at Beach Street and Pacific Avenue.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Two men were arrested Saturday night after police say their car drove onto a roundabout at Beach Street and Pacific Avenue. Driver William Swanson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and his passenger was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
Santa Cruz Police did not immediately reply to a request for more information about the men. They urged drivers to drive sober or take Uber or Lyft in a Facebook post about the arrest.
