June Ballots Mailed to Military and Overseas Voters

Ballots for the June 3, 2014 Statewide Primary Election will begin to be mailed Friday to 1,035 Santa Cruz County voters who are in the military or are overseas.

California laws provides for the early mailing to our military and overseas voters to give them plenty of time to receive their ballots, vote , and return the voted ballot to the Santa Cruz County Elections Official.

Of those voters receiving an early ballot, 512 will be delivered by postal mail and 523 by email, in accordance with the law.

The first day to mail ballots to our regular voters is May 5. In Santa Cruz County, 65,306 of our 140,180 registered voters are signed up to receive a ballot in the mail.

For more information, please visit our website at www.votescount.com or call us at 831-454-2060.
