Llamas On The Lam Give Santa Cruz Cops A Run For Their Money
Police said the adorable but feisty animals ran away from their nearby farm.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Two wayward llamas who busted out of their pens gave Santa Cruz cops a run for their money earlier this week. Police said the adorable but feisty South American camelids ran away from their nearby farm and were reportedly loose in the area of Golf Club Drive on Monday.
The llama drama was quickly handled before either one was injured. It is not known if the daring llama duo has a history of jailbreaks but the two were eventually captured and returned to their owners.
