Man Arrested After Officials Recover 3 Pounds Of Heroin, 8 Guns
The man is facing charges related to drug sales and illegal possession of guns after a search warrant was served Wednesday morning.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A man was arrested Wednesday morning in Santa Cruz after a search warrant uncovered he had more than three pounds of heroin in small packages and loaded guns, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office.
Joseph G. Watts, 65, is facing felony charges of possessing a controlled substance with the intent to sell it, possessing a controlled substance while being armed and possessing a gun after being convicted of a felony, jail records show.
In all, Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team officers found eight guns after serving a search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of 7th Avenue in Santa Cruz.
