Man Arrested In Santa Cruz Campsite Shooting
The victim suffered three gunshot wounds to his lower body, which he received at a campsite along the San Lorenzo Riverbed, police said.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A suspect was arrested by police in Santa Cruz after someone was shot at a campsite, the department said Monday.
On Feb. 10, officers learned that a man had walked into a McDonald's on Ocean Street and flagged someone down to call 911. The man had sustained three gunshot wounds to his lower body, which he received at a campsite along the San Lorenzo Riverbed. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police were able to identify a Santa Cruz resident as the suspect and they were arrested Wednesday evening in the area of Fern and Limekiln streets and booked into jail. Police have not released the identity of the suspect.
