Man Faces DUI, Weapons Charges After Entering Closed Road
The road was closed as officials responded to the CZU August Lightning Complex fires.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A San Jose man is facing charges related to weapon possession and driving under the influence after trying to enter a closed Ben Lomond road early Friday.
Christopher Campbell, 44, was driving north on Highway 9 at Lower Glen Arbor around 3:30 a.m. when he tried to enter a road closure related to the nearby fires, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP stopped him and arrested him on suspicion of DUI and multiple violations related to weapons.
