Man Wanted In Connection With Stabbing Death Of His Mother In Santa Cruz
BREAKING: A warrant was issued for the 43-year-old, who has not been seen in several days, police said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man suspected of murdering his mother, who was found early Monday morning in Santa Cruz with a stab wound in the back of her neck, according to police.
Kasey Gaskell, 43, has been identified as a suspect in the fatal stabbing of Shannon Magner, who was found dead in Gaskell's apartment in the 800 block of Front Street just before 5 a.m. Monday.
Magner, 66, was a resident of Aptos. She lived in Gaskell's apartment at one time but later moved out, police said.

Gaskell's whereabouts are currently unknown and he hasn't been seen for several days. Police believe he's fled the area.
