Meth, Cash Found In Vehicle During Traffic Stop: Deputies
A warrant search at his San Jose and Monterey homes turned up more meth, cash and guns, authorities said. [Breaking]
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A man pulled over for speeding in Santa Cruz early Wednesday morning led authorities to a combined total of nearly $25,000 in cash, about a dozen firearms and 30 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, a Santa Cruz County sheriff's spokesman said today.
Royce Fuller, 53, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance, sheriff's Sgt. Roy Morales said.
Fuller was allegedly speeding on Mission Street just before 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. He was pulled over by deputies, who allegedly found 12 ounces of methamphetamine and more than $3,200 in cash inside the vehicle, according to Morales.

The investigation led detectives to serve warrants at homes in San Jose and Monterey County, Morales said.
Detectives discovered 18.3 ounces of methamphetamine, more than $16,000 in cash and 11 firearms at the San Jose residence, according to Morales.

Tim Crooks, 48, of San Jose, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sales and booked into Santa Clara County Jail, Morales said.
At the Monterey County home detectives found more than $4,000 in cash, according to Morales.
