Meth For Sale: Man Arrested By Santa Cruz County Task Force
Law enforcement reportedly found the drugs, cash, packaging materials and a scale at his home.

Law enforcement officers arrested a 34-year-old man on Friday in Watsonville on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale, a member of Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team Gang Task Force said.
Sergio Quezada Chavez was arrested after members of the task force and inspectors from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security served a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of East Lake Avenue at about 9:40 a.m., according to the task force.
Task force members found more than 16 grams of crystal methamphetamine, packaging material, a scale and more than $2,800 in cash at the home.

Members believe the cash was proceeds from the sale of the drug. Task force members estimate the value of the methamphetamine at $1,000 to $2,000.
